Apia Township & Surrounding Areas - The hustle & bustle of a South Pacific city can be found in Samoa’s capital, Apia, with its colourful market place, interesting shops, many restaurants and bars, and old German colonial buildings. Visit historic sites such as Parliament House, 1962 Independence Monument, Lands & Title Court, and the sacred burial grounds of the chiefly families of Samoa.
Palolo Deep Marine Reserve - An excellent snorkelling, diving and swimming spot located at the eastern end of Apia harbour.
Papapapaitai Falls - A spectacular 100m waterfall located in central Upolu.
Papase’ea Sliding Rocks - A 5m rock slide down a waterfall into a deep, freshwater pool located just 6km from central Apia.
Piula Cave Pool - Take a refreshing swim in this natural, cool, freshwater spring. Located next to the ocean, just after Saoluafata.
Robert Louis Stevenson Museum - Visit “Vailima”, the beautiful island plantation home of the great Scottish author, Robert Louis Stevenson, now a museum. His tomb is located at the top of Mt Vaea, a 30-45 minute walk from the museum.
Togitogiga Falls - Located on the south coast within Togitogiga Scenic Reserve these falls offer excellent swimming areas with toilets and change rooms.
